Gamti Vaat

Gamti Vaat | Every Brilliant Thing | Revanta Sarabhai | Gujarati Play Theatre

Gamti Vaat is an uplifting story about love, life, loss, and a list of all the wonderful things in the world! Yash Vyas’ beautiful and tender adaptation of Duncan Macmillan’s international sensation, Every Brilliant Thing—Gamti Vaat is a warm embrace: a journey from the lowest points of life to discovering all the beautiful moments — whether it’s being taken out for ice-cream, water balloon fights, the fragrance of wet earth after it rains, or spending the entire night speaking to your lover on the phone. Performed by the charismatic Revanta Sarabhai, this joyous and intimate play presents a unique theatrical experience showing us the small miracles life has to offer.

Language: Gujarati | Duration: 70 mins

You’re seven years old. Papa tells you that Mummy’s in the hospital, that she’s done something stupid—she’s hurt herself because she’s sad. So you start to write a list. A list of every thing that’s wonderful in the world. Years pass, decades go by, the world evolves, and the list takes on a life of its own—because there are plenty of things worth living for in the world, if you just look around.
